You can now more easily view the credit status for a registry item. When viewing an order, just look below the product's name, and your Bridge will show you the registry accounting status. In the example shown, there is credit due to the registrant for the value of the item shown.
Accurately managing registry credit is an important part of keeping your registry accounting books accurate and making registrants and gift-givers happy. Let's imagine an order has three products in it. With this feature, you can quickly see on the order details page whether you have paid out the credit via product or a gift card, or if the credit is still due (aka outstanding).
The registry credit status for each product gifted can be managed on the registry accounting page. You can also change the registry credit status by updating the order's status.
Here is a key sharing what each order status setting will do to the product's registry accounting status:
Do not process yet = Order Status: Do not process yet
Product of gift card needs to be shipped = Credit due
Pending: awaiting supplier response = Credit due
Pending: Awaiting customer response = Credit due
Pending: Scheduled for Shipping / delivery = Credit due
Pending: Applied as virtual registry credit & awaiting redemption = Credit due
Complete: Shipped / delivered product = Paid out via product
Complete: Shipped / delivered gift card = Paid out via gift card
Complete: Customer picked up product = Paid out via product
Complete: Customer picked up gift card = Paid out via gift card
Complete: Canceled = Order Status: Canceled
Complete: Returned = Order Status: Returned
